Walking towards the offices of Lumoid.com, I remembered the excitement I felt as a little girl, walking into a VHS rental store, knowing I could walk away with anything in there. Nothing was unobtainable. After watching a film over and over, the thrill faded and I'd walk back to return and exchange for a newer release. Why purchase something you're only going to enjoy for a short period of time that will eventually collect dust and produce clutter?
What I love about weekend business meetings is that the Bart station is relatively deserted, the streets are less crowded, and the meeting time falls just around cocktail hour. Even though the weather here is still scorching, I couldn't wait to step into my Fall booties, handcrafted in New York by Matt Bernson with the beautiful Vero Cuoio stamp on the bottom. Matching my frames with the reversible handbag from Urban Outfitters balanced out that pop of neon pink. Here are a few snapshots of my journey towards the heart of the city.
